Wessex Indoor Rowing

Indoor Rowing within the Wessex Region of Hampshire and Dorset has been growing and growing over the last few years. We have seen both schools competition and open events attracting a number of people from a variety of places.   For Sport Relief on the 19th March the Southampton Schools partnership is taking up the challenge of collectively covering the distance around the United Kingdom on rowing machines.  Solent University will be taking up the challenge of racing the Isle of Wight Red Funnel ferries from Southampton to Cowes.  Gus Mckechnie will be attempting to cover 100km on a rowing machine.
