Wessex Indoor Rowing

Indoor Rowing within the Wessex Region of Hampshire and Dorset has been growing and growing over the last few years. We have seen both schools competition and open events attracting a number of people from a variety of places.   News of the 2010 program coming soon...

In the meantime if your looking for inspiration to get into rowing please look at this excellent link about the Batten sisters who started rowing on the river Itchen in Southampton.  They were in the first GB ladies crew to claim a medal in the Olympic games (Sydney 2000):
